The nine trades we track

Every company on this site lives under one of nine trades. A trade page ranks every Las Vegas valley company in that trade with 50 or more Google reviews and links to a page per company — its rating, its rank by review volume, and what an automated check of its own website turned up. The tiles above show how many companies currently clear the review floor in each trade.

How a company earns a page

The bar is 50 or more Google reviews at a Nevada address inside the Las Vegas valley, with a listing Google shows as operating. Below 50 reviews a rating is too small a sample to mean much, and few people search those companies by name, so they get no page. There is no application and no fee — companies appear and rank by public data alone, and the order is review count, never payment.

Each listed company is then checked the same way: its Google record and its own website, read side by side on a stated date. The website visit records structural facts — whether the site responded, whether it mentions the reviews the company has earned, whether it works on a phone, the year in its own footer — and the flags beside companies come from that visit, never from opinion. One rule reaches across every trade here: in Nevada, repair or installation work priced at $1,000 or more including labor and materials requires a state contractor’s license (NRS 624), and any license number can be verified free at the Nevada State Contractors Board. Cleaning-only work — house cleaning, carpet cleaning, pressure washing, junk hauling — sits outside contractor licensing, which is exactly why the public review record these rankings measure is the main signal available for those trades.

Frequently asked questions

Why is a company I know missing?

Three common reasons: fewer than 50 Google reviews (below our floor), an address outside the Las Vegas valley or outside Nevada, or a listing Google shows as closed. Companies cross the 50-review line all the time and appear on the next refresh.

How are companies ordered?

By Google review count, highest first. Not by rating, not by our opinion, and never by payment - there is no way to buy a position on any list here.

Are the numbers on these pages live?

No - each page states the date its figures were read from Google's public data. Counts move daily, so treat every figure as of its printed date and check the company's Google listing for today's number.

What do the flags next to companies mean?

They are facts from an automated visit to the company's own website on the date shown: whether it responded, whether it has been updated recently, whether it works on phones. A flag is never a judgement about the quality of their work.
